An anticorrelation with the solar wind variation of the flux of Jovial electrons in interplanetary space is noted among the results of a cross-correlation analysis between the Jovian electron flux and the solar wind. The polarity of the IMF's B(y) component is noted to control the release rate of electrons. The release of Jovian electrons could therefore be modulated by the solar wind at the Jovian magnetosphere.
