New results are presented concerning the decay of thermoluminescence in
ordinary chondrites. No evidence is found for the existence of two
different decay rates as previously reported and a new interpretation of
the earlier data is presented. The relevance to determination of
terrestrial ages by thermoluminescence is discussed.
