The nature of the wave interactions, particularly those induced by
transient solar and geomagnetic phenomena is discussed. Solar activity
which includes modulations of galactic cosmic ray flux reaching Earth is
discussed. Coupling processes involving charged particles and
atmospheric electric structure are presented.
