The authors present radial velocities for the bright stars, nine of them giants, in the old open cluster NGC 2420 from high-resolution spectra obtained with the 2.1-meter coudé spectrograph at KPNO. The mean cluster velocity is found to be 70.0±1.4 (rms) km s-1 based on these velocity measurements. Among the ten stars observed, two have been confirmed to be nonmembers from their radial-velocity data. In addition, two barium stars in the sample have shown variable velocities when compared with previous observations.
