A detailed analysis has been performed on the neutrino signals from supernova 1987A observed at the Kamiokanda and IMB water detectors, the expected signal in the chlorine detector of Davis et al., and to a lesser extent the signal in the Mont Blanc detector. The Kamiokanda and IMB data agree well with theoretical expectations for the neutrino luminosity from a supernova. The timing of both observations is consistent with an initial luminosity decreasing as an exponential or gaussian with a time constant greater than 1 s. Conservative neutrino mass limits derivable from the timing of the neutrino bursts are probably weaker than might initially be expected. The data are quite consistent with vacuum neutrino oscillations at a level that could resolve the solar neutrino problem.
