The mechanism of plasma ejection due to the reconnection of solar magnetic field lines in local unstable regions of the solar atmosphere is investigated in order to explain the ascending stage of solar flares. A model based on Maxwellian stresses of such reconnected field lines in neutral current sheets and the explosive expansion of ionized gases is used to effectively interpret the dynamics involved in the acceleration and deceleration of the ascending front of solar flare plasma ejection.
