Further VLA observations of the wide-angle tail (WAT) source 1313 + 073 in the C array at 20 and 6 cm and the redshift measurement of the galaxy are presented. These observations, when combined with the D array observations reported earlier, give detailed information on the distributions of spectral index, rotation measure and depolarization across the source. The distribution of the spectral index indicates the need for reacceleration of the radiating particles within the tails. The small rotation measure indicates that the hotspots are highly deficient in thermal plasma (n/th/ not greater than 6 x 10 to the -6th/cu cm). From the observed straightness of the jets up to about 50 kpc, a minimum jet velocity of about 15,000 km/s is inferred. Some recent models for the formation of bent tails in WATs are discussed in the context of this source. The oscillatory structure of the eastern tail could be understood in terms of helical twisting due to Kelvin-Helmholtz instability. Optical spectroscopic data suggesting that 1313 + 073 lies in a cluster of galaxies at a redshift z = 0.0507, located in the background of the Zwicky cluster 1313.7 + 0721 at z = 0.0212, are also presented.
