The accuracy of theoretical calculations of neutral component concentrations at a given height for the conditions typical of the exosphere and upper thermosphere, where the temperature is practically independent of the height, is estimated in probabilistic terms. It is shown that the accuracy of theoretical predictions of neutral component concentrations decreases with decreasing temperature of the exosphere, increasing gravitational acceleration at the planet surface, and increasing mass of the neutral component.
