The influence of scattering in the interstellar medium on the mean pulse profile and apparent angular size of pulsar radiation is considered. The general solution of the equation for the two-frequency mutual coherence function is obtained for a point source in statistically anisotropic and inhomogeneous medium with arbitrary spatial irregularities. The corresponding analytical expressions for pulse spread function and angular spectrum of scattered radiation are presented. The special case of an initially plane wave is also considered.
