We present a high resolution VLA mosaic of ammonia (3,3) emission in the central region of OMC-1. Previous maps of (1,1) and (2,2) emission revealed dense filaments of molecular gas fanning out from the core [1]. The (3,3) emission is sensitive to gas heated in regions of outflow and radiation [2] and thus highlights areas where star formation activity is affecting the surrounding molecular filaments. Four fields were combined to cover a 3'×3' region. The mosaic reveals heated gas near the base of the outflow and also along the eastern filament to distances as far as 2' (0.3 pc) from the central source. A high velocity blue-shifted flow is found with its source near the central ``hot core''. ``Hot spots'' near the base of the filaments show where this high velocity gas leaves the central region along paths of lower optical depth surrounding the filaments. Thus very dense gas is being heated and accelerated in the OMC-1 outflow. The high spatial resolution of the mosaic reveals detailed heating effects from the outflow and radiation over a large area.
