Sixteen years of observations of the Perseid meteor shower, carried out with the partrol radar in Ottawa (Canada), were used to ascertain the relative flux of the shower for long-duration echoes. A sharp flux peak occurs at solar longitude 139.20 + or - 0.026 deg (for an echo duration greater than ore equal to 1 sec); this activity extends over several days. No small particles were observed, but it is not known whether this is caused by a real deficiency of small meteroids, or by a combination of selection effects rendering them unobservable.
