A class of dipolar vortex solutions are given to the coupled nonlinear equations of Yu et al. (1986) governing the dynamics of low-frequency waves in a strongly magnetized electron-positron plasma. The mode coupling of the shear Alfven-like modes is found to give rise to self-organized motion consisting of an ensemble of dipolar vortices, the profiles of which are well localized. In the inner region, the profiles are shown to consist of the sum of two Bessel functions of the first order having different decay lengths. The results differ from those of Yu et al.
