The equations of non-linear oscillations of a collisionless ellipsoid with homogeneous density are derived. The stability of the model of an ellipsoidal stellar system with oblique rotation with respect to ellipsoid-ellipsoid perturbation is investigated. The region of stability is defined by the determination of the characteristic frequencies of small oscillations the equations of which have been derived through linearization of the equations of non-linear oscillations.
