The stability of collisionless star clusters with various character of anisotropy of velocity distribution is investigated with the help of the common method using the reduction procedure (by reducing the stability problem of a spherical system to the analogous problem of perturbations of the simplest form for a corresponding cyclindrical system). For a spherical system immersed into a massive "halo" or containing a large central mass the equations of eigenfunctions and frequencies of oscillations (the integral ones in the simplest case) are derived.
