The authors present their opinion on 266 objects, taken from catalogues and lists of planetary nebulae. These opinions are based on observations given in the literature, on the vast photometric information collected by the IRAS satellite, as well as on the observations from the ongoing project of a spectroscopic survey of all planetary nebulae. 199 objects are definitely rejected as planetary nebulae, 63 others are possibly not planetary nebulae.
