We have pursued the calculation of filling factors and ionized masses of galactic Planetary Nebulae (PNe) at known (extinction) distances, of galactic bulge PNe, and of Magellanic Cloud PNe, as to get a deeper insight on the evolution of this important class of objects, that marks the link between the Asymptotic Giant Branch and the White Dwarf phases. In order to perform our calculation, from the equation of energy propagation within a gaseous nebula, we used as input data the electron densities derived from the forbidden line intensity ratios, the measured angular radii, and the Hβ nebular fluxes. All these quantities have been selected among the most recent measurements available in the literature. With our large filling factor and ionized mass database, we can perform statistical analysis and obtain correlations, such as filling factor versus nebular dimension, or ionized mass versus electron density. It is very relevant that the filling factors and the ionized masses are distributed in a very wide range of values, and that the average value of the filling factor is lower than usually assumed in the literature (epsilon ~ 0.5).
