VBLUW photometric observations of 35 solar-type stars are presented and
discussed in terms of abundance, Teff and gravity (log g).
Using the empirical transformation between the VBLUW and UBV systems,
for four stars being very similar to the sun the authors derive (B-V) =
0.656±0.011.
