We present results from the latest observations in the uvby-beta CCD
photometry program related to the structure and chemical evolution of
the Milky Way. Observations were performed using the Nordic Optical
Telescope at La Palma equipped with the Aarhus-Tromso low dispersion
spectrograph in the imaging mode.
