Features of two new receivers for the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope which are scheduled to become available as common user instruments on the telescope during 1991 are described. The first of these receivers, known as SCUBA, is a submillimeter bolometric array system for continuum observations of extended sources. The second, known as System C2, is a two-channel dual-polarization heterodyne receiver which will operate in the frequency range from 450 to 500 GHz for spectral line observations.
