A sample was carefully selected from the cross-correlation of the VLA FIRST (February 1998 release) and GB6 surveys. For our purposes, a source is defined as inverted when alpha_ {1.4-4.8}>0.4, where S ~ nu (alpha ) . Data cuts have been enforced to minimize the effects of confused or extended sources and insure reliable spectral indices. The remaining sample contains 308 inverted-spectrum radio sources. Inverted-spectrum radio sources can be a significant foreground for cosmic microwave background (CMB) anisotropy experiments (such as the MAP and Planck Surveyor satellites) because a steeply rising spectrum can mimic the Rayleigh-Jeans portion of the CMB spectrum. The radio fluxes and spectral indices of discrete radio sources between 20 GHz and 100 GHz are important ingredients for the foreground subtraction of CMB anisotropy experiments. In addition, inverted-spectrum radio sources are believed to be the precursors to other classes of radio-loud active galaxies. Thus, a sample of inverted-spectrum radio sources can be used to investigate the evolution of radio-loud active galaxies Radio observations at 20 GHz were conducted during two days in November of 1998 at the 140-foot telescope. Approximately 220 radio sources were observed. Radio fluxes and spectral indices of 13 sources with 20 GHz fluxes greater than 100 mJy will be presented. Limits on the fluxes and spectral indices of the larger sample of inverted-spectrum radio sources will be examined. Time variability in certain sources will be discussed. Optical counterparts and redshifts from the POSS I plates will be presented.
