Archeops is a balloon-borne experiment that has mapped the CMB anisotropies with a 10 arcmin resolution and a sky coverage of 30%, leading after a first analysis to measurements of the angular power spectrum between l~15 and l~350. Considering the use of bolometers cooled down at 100 mK, and its scanning strategy, Archeops can also be considered as a benchmark for the high-frequency instrument of Planck. In this paper, I present the experiment and the major steps of the data analysis, and the first Archeops results published on the angular power spectrum.
