The study of a sample from lunar rock 15015 returned with Apollo 15 flight is presented with regard to the dimensions, flux, and cumulated distribution of micrometeoroids. Craters are shown to have 20 and 450 micron diameters and a morphology characteristic of particle velocities up to 20 km/s by scanning microscope observation. The crater diameter is calibrated with respect to incident particle mass by aluminum projectile simulation. The mean density of micrometeoroids is of order 3 gram/cubic cm, the exposition time to the meteoroid flux gives the mean value of the cumulated flux which is consistent with the values found by Neukum.
