In November 1972 observations at 1,400 and 4,830 MHz were made with a 64-m telescope to clarify questions regarding the frequency dependence of the pulse characteristics of the Vela pulsar. The obtained data can be related to some gamma-ray observations reported by Albats et al. (1974). On Nov. 16, 1972, Albats et al. had attempted to detect pulsed gamma rays from the Vela pulsar in the range from 10 to 30 MeV.
