The nonthermal radio-continuum and gamma ray emission of the galactic disc were analyzed using a spiral-arm model of the galaxy. The results for the 408 MHz brightness temperature and the 100 MeV gamma ray line intensity as a function of galactic longitude at b to the 11th power = 0 deg are presented. The observational implications, as well as the uncertainties in the calculations, are briefly discussed. An estimate of the possible range of the inverse Compton contribution to the observed gamma ray flux is made.
