We have obtained optical power spectra from the sites of the radio pulsars PSR 0950 and PSR 1929, and scanned them, without any a priori assumption as to the expected frequency, for coherent oscillations. A similar technique was used to search relatively large areas around the sites of the supernovae remnants Cas A and Tycho SN 1572. No significant optical pulsations were found.
