A new method for modelling the spectral energy distribution of T Tauri stars is presented. Disk parameters are derived by computing spectra from a system made up of a central late-type star and its surrounding accretion disk and boundary layer and comparing them to an observed spectral energy distribution. An new automated 'unprejudiced' chi-square method is used to find the best-fitting models. Solutions that best fit DF Tau's energy distributions are presented. Maps of chi-square distributions over the entire parameter space are presented and the issue of the uniqueness of disk solutions is discussed.
