Research projects carried out until now by the 182 cm Copernicus
telescope at Cima Ekar comprise studies of globular clusters of variable
stars and novae in galaxies of the local group and investigating on the
structure of several Markarian galaxies. Auxiliary equipment was applied
for spectrography and photon counting photometry.
