Indian observations of Comet Halley that were part of the International Halley Watch and the Indian Halley Observation Program are reviewed. The facilities used in Indian observations of Comet Halley are discussed. Consideration is given to an interferogram recorded on March 22, 1986 in (0-0) C2 emission, observations of the transient ionic event of March 13, 1986, piezoelectric Fabry-Perot observations of NH2 and forbidden O I, photopolarimetric observations, observation of a condensation region in the tail direction on January 8, 1986, observations of the occultation of scintillating radio sources by the ion tail of Comet Halley, and studies of the nongravitational effects on the actual orbit of the comet.
