photoelectric UBV observations of the dwarf nova VW Hydri were obtained with the ESO (European Southern Observatory) 0.5 m telescope during 17 nights in November 1977; CPD-71 deg 248 served as a comparison star. Since a standard single channel photometer was used, the observations in U, B and V were obtained consecutively. The U and B observations were reduced by linear interpolation to the time of the V observations. The light and color curves of the dwarf nova during its decline from the supermaximum are given.
