The dynamics of the orbit of a planet around a binary star system (the Copenhagen problem) is discussed in a general informative style. Several different types of mathematical solutions to the problem are considered within the context of a synodic coordinate system. A diagram is presented which describes the orbits resulting from the different mathematical solutions to the problem.
