Possible scenarios for the evolution of solar prominences are proposed on the basis of observational data. These are autonomous loop evolution, evolution with mass exchange, and evolution with magnetic flux emergence. The latter is a preflare type of evolution which begins 4-5 hrs before the flare with prominence activation in the radio range over the active region. The flares initiate the restructuring of the prominences as well as their partial or total destruction.
