Scientific paper

Data on solar wind speed, spatial spectrum of plasma irregularities and inner scale of the turbulence are presented. Electron density, degree of plasma inhomogeneity, power of solar wind and the rate of solar mass loss are determined. The dependence of these parameters on heliocentric distance in the interval R = 5 - 100 R_sun; is discussed for two spatial regions. It is shown that at (12 - 25) R_sun; the principal parameters of the solar wind show great variations.
