Intrinsic and induced magnetospheres of planets, moons, and comets in
the solar system are described. Magnetospheric electric fields, the
plasmasphere, rotational effects, and corotation and convection
dominated intrinsic magnetospheres are considered. Supersonic and
subsonic interactions in induced magnetospheres are discussed.
