New results concerning type III burst sources for time resolution better than 1 sec are obtained at 169 MHz by use of two dimensional observation data provided by the Nançay Mark III Radioheliograph during the years 1980 - 1981. Above the solar limb as well as at any other longitude, most of the type III sources are resolved into multiple components.
