The interstellar Li I λ6707 absorption line is detected toward ρ Oph A at an equivalent width Wλ = 3.1±1.9 mÅ. Upper limits near 1 mÅ also are found toward seven other stars, including 55 Cyg, toward which relatively strong Li I absorption was previously reported. The four positive detections and the eight upper limits now available for the λ6707 line indicate that Li is not significantly depleted from the interstellar gas.
