The vertical-momentum spectra of cosmic ray muons in the range (0.3/26) GeV/c at the equator were measured with a magnetic spark-chamber spectrograph during the Atlantic Expedition IQSY 1965 of RV Meteor. Previously, the spectra of cosmic ray particles, whose fluxes are dependent on the geomagnetic latitude, have been measured only in northern latitudes and then normalized to the Rossi intensity at 1 GeV/c. The results are compared with the values received with the same apparatus at Kiel, W. Germany. Data are presented in tables and graphs.
