The V and B light curves of the Algol-type eclipsing binary EU Hydrae, obtained during 1973 - 74 and 1977 with the 1.2-m telescope of the Japal-Rangapur Observatory, were analyzed for elements using the Wilson-Devinney synthetic light-curve method. The results suggest that EU Hya is a semidetached system with a photometric mass ratio of 0.212. The primary component is found to be an F2 V (6900K) and the secondary component is an evolved star of K0-4 IV-V (4152K) spectral types.
