The possibility is considered of measuring refraction on large-scale inhomogeneities in the interplanetary plasma by terrestrial radio astronomical observations. The method is based on the measurement of the scintillation pattern shift at two frequencies that is caused by refraction. Values are estimated for the refraction shift on the mean electron density gradient and on inhomogeneities measuring 10 to the 9th power cm.
