The hardware and software used to obtain sky survey profiles with the Llanherne low frequency radio telescope is described. The hardware is based on a general purpose digital minicomputer with 4K of memory. Specialized hardware includes a telescope beam controller interface, solar and sidereal clocks and their interfaces, a real time clock, a cathode ray oscilloscope display and interface, and interface to an X-y plotter. The Disk Monitor software operating system was used to create the software controlling the telescope. The software includes a general purpose teletype handler, a file handling package, averaging routines, and a beam control package. The system permits the nightly recording of sky survey profiles at several different declinations.
