Spectral parameters of a large number of stria, split pair and triple bursts, grouped in type IIIb bursts, were measured for two consecutive half solar rotations. Their average values are deduced for all bursts together and for each kind separately, for each period. Most of the previous results given by Ellis and McCulloch (1967) are confirmed and new results are added: the frequency variation of the average duration, the center-to-limb effect of the average frequency and duration, the observing period and longitude independence of the bandwidth and of the frequency splitting in pairs, the random character of the drift rate and that of the circular polarization, the existence of long duration and trailing elements, a broadening effect on the bandwidth of some bursts, the role of an axis of symmetry played by the middle element in a triple burst. All these properties have to be accounted for by a coherent theory of type IIIb bursts.
