A completely causal rotating Goedal-type universe is obtained in the context of higher-derivative gravity. The solution is such that it has no similarity in the framework of standard general relativity. The aforementioned solution presents the interesting feature of relating the mass of the nontachyonic spin-O particle, concerning the linearized higher-derivative theory, with the velocity of rigid rotation of matter.
