The IceCube Neutrino Observatory performs several searches for neutrino emission associated with gamma-ray bursts. Searches performed include those optimized for neutrino emission strongly time-correlated with the gamma-ray signals, produced in a Waxman-Bahcall fireball, as well as a model-independent search optimized for wide range of energies and emission times. With no events found correlated with the triggered GRB catalog, limits on neutrino emission are set. For the first time, these limits are lower than the neutrino flux predictions from models that predict the highest energy cosmic rays originating from GRBs.
