Detailed photometry of 1627 Ivar carried out during five nights in July-August 1985 is reported. Light curves, the magnitude-phase relation, and color indices were obtained. It is shown that the asteroid has a very elongated form and a prograde rotation with a period of 4.7979 + or - 0.0001 h. The magnitude-phase relation was analyzed, and estimates of the size and elongation of the asteroid were made.
