Mapping techniques based on the truncated Hamiltonian method for the planar, elliptic, restricted three-body problem are used to perform a systematic study of third- and fourth-order resonances. Each resonance is described by 1D family of the section surface and a simple energy graph which makes it posssible to predict the changes in the section surfaces within a family.
