The ULDA Access Guide Vol. 3 treats the data of normal galaxies. The authors present an overview of the intrinsic spectra of the normal galaxies observed and analyze the sample of galaxies included in the IUE Archive presently. They also have combined the data with many of those available from previous space projects and over a wide range of wavelength to cover the full range of stellar and interstellar population in normal galaxies. Due to the large amount of work involved in such compilation and the dynamic nature of the ULDA, it is not possible to make both the existing version of the ULDA, and the auxilliary information cover exactly the same period. In Vol. 3 the auxiliary information extends to December 31st, 1990, while ULDA version 3.0 extends to the beginning of 1989. However, it was judged to be preferable to collect all information available at this time rather than artificially make the time periods covered in the current ULDA Guide and by the current version of the ULDA coincide.
