Four Tautenburg Schmidt plates were measured on the automatic measuring machine PARSEC at the Nikolaev Observatory. R. m. s. positional errors of AGK3 stars were found to be ±1.8 μm. The form of the orthogonal approximation polynomial was established for differences between tangential and measured coordinates. Using the AGK3 as a reference catalogue it was shown that the inclusion in the plate model of linear and quadratic coordinate dependent terms as well as coma and magnitude equation terms is sufficient. Numerical values of coefficients for these effects are given.
