The discovery is reported of variable linear and circular polarization over the 13.9 minute spin period of the intermediate polar (IP) RE 0715 + 14. Evidence is found of accretion onto extended ribbonlike regions near two opposite magnetic poles. The polarized fluxes detected in the red and NIR band suggest that RE 0751 + 14 has a stronger magnetic field than the other known IPs. The existence of a highly asynchronous magnetic binary with a field strength approaching those found in the strictly synchronous CV counterparts, if confirmed, would be important for checking the effects of magnetic torque on the binary evolution.
