The ground state of CaNC is presently characterized by mm-wave
spectroscopy, using a standard Hamiltonian linear molecule model to
analyze the spectrum. The resulting spectroscopic parameters were used
to predict the transition frequencies and Einstein A-coefficients, which
should make possible a quantitative astrophysical search for CaNC.
