Six pre-main-sequence (PMS) K-type stars with relatively weak chromospheric emission have been observed with the VLA to search for 6 cm radio emission. All six stars are members of the Taurus T association. HD 283447 was clearly detected with a flux of 3.8 mJy. V410 Tau was detected with a flux of 0.8 mJy, which is about a factor of 20 weaker than was observed by Cohen, Bieging, and Schwartz (1982) and Bieging, Cohen, and Schwartz (1984). The authors argue that the PMS binary FK X-Ray 1 was probably detected at a flux of 0.5 mJy. Upper limits of about 0.3 mJy were obtained for the stars WK X-Ray 1, FK X-Ray 2, and WK X-Ray 2. These results show that 6 cm radio emission at the level first observed in V410 Tau is not characteristic of other pre-main-sequence K stars with relatively weak chromospheric emission. Furthermore, the 6 cm radio emission from V410 Tau appears to vary over a large range.
