A mathematical model of the universe was constructed on the basis of the generalized field theory of Mikhail and Wanas (1977). A unique solution, representing a specified expanding universe, was obtained and was compared with cosmological observations and with FRW models of relativistic cosmology. It is shown that the new model is free of particle horizons. Two cases are considered, one when the associated Riemannian-space has a definite metric and the other for indefinite metrics for the associated Riemannian space.
